Autonomous AI Agent & Groq LPU

1. The Autonomous Operator Architecture

Conventional blockchain bots are either purely rule-based (rigid, unable to adapt to novel edge cases) or attempt to put large language models directly into the transaction loop (causing massive latency and transaction failures).

Sentry 2.0 implements an autonomous systems operator model:

  • The deterministic hot path executes transactions at wire speed (under 1ms).
  • The cognitive cold path acts as an expert systems reliability engineer, running out-of-band to monitor execution health, diagnose failures, and calibrate operating parameters.

2. Groq LPU Hardware Acceleration

Sentry 2.0 integrates Groq Language Processing Units (LPUs) running llama-3.3-70b-versatile.

Why Groq LPU?

Standard cloud GPU inference suffers from high latency and variable token arrival rates (often 1,500ms to 4,000ms for a 70B parameter model). Groq's deterministic Tensor Streaming Processor architecture delivers:

  • Sub-500ms time-to-first-token for deep telemetry payloads.
  • High inference throughput for high-frequency log analysis.
  • Structured JSON outputs conforming to strict runtime schemas.

3. Market Regime Classification

The AI engine analyzes continuous telemetry from Solami Private RPC and native WebSocket streams to classify network conditions into five operational regimes:

RegimeSlot VelocityTip MultiplierExecution Strategy
calmNormal (~400ms)1.0x (Floor)Standard Private RPC routing, minimal priority tips.
moderateSlight queuing1.25xStandard Private RPC routing with baseline priority fees.
congestedHigh queue depth1.75xSolami Beam SWQoS routing enabled, elevated validator tips.
extremeValidator stalls2.5xDedicated Solami Beam SWQoS TPU rail, aggressive dynamic tips.
volatileRapid price swings3.5x (Max)Maximum SWQoS allocation, short-lived blockhashes, tight slippage bounds.

4. Cold-Path Responsibilities

4.1 Causal Failure Analysis

When a transaction fails or is aborted by the policy engine, the telemetry payload is routed to the Groq LPU for causal classification:

  • blockhash_not_found: Identifies whether the failure was caused by stale RPC sampling or validator queue delays.
  • preflight_simulation_failed: Pinpoints the exact instruction failure (e.g. slippage exceeded, insufficient token balance).
  • rpc_timeout: Evaluates whether network latency crossed operator risk bounds.

4.2 Out-of-Band Policy Calibration

The agent continuously audits the append-only ledger (logs/mainnet_100_matrix.jsonl). If it observes three consecutive simulation failures across similar protocols, it dynamically adjusts circuit breaker thresholds without requiring operator intervention or code redeployment.
